Kiwi and I had to visit Perth in early May, we decided to have a Catch-Up with the TELSTECHs in the west. The event was at no cost to the Association.

It was a relatively small group that attended. Eight in all: myself, Kiwi, Staffo, Mark Wilson, Al & Jan White, and Norm & Barbara Ellis. The afternoon was conversational and very informative. Mainly because we all sat around one table discussing the same topics at once.

Some topics were very enlightening. Such as if you have submitted a DVA claim in the past with no success, consider investigating a review. The claims process has recently undergone some significant changes. I cannot guarantee success, but there are a number of claims that have been granted in retrospect.

Also, we were invited to attend a Reunion of WA Communicators for Yum Cha. It was organized by Lisa-Rae Williams Hill. If you are interested in attending their functions, request contact details from us.
